Canadian Institute of Forestry - Curling Tournament for the Janeway Children’s Hospital under the Log A Load for Kids Campaign 2026
Members of the forest industry participated in the Canadian Institute of Forestry’s (CIF) annual curling bonspiel on March 6 in aid of the Janeway Children’s Hospital. In total we raised over $6,800 for the Janeway. FSANL would like to thank all who donated to this worthy cause.

On February 7th, 2025, the Executive Director, Dion Newman, participated in the Canadian Institute of Forestry Annual Curling Tournament to raise money for the Janeway Children’s Hospital. A total of $1,300.00 was raised and donated.
Log a Load with Kids Golf Tournament 2015
In keeping with National Forestry week the 2nd Annual Log a Load for kid’s golf tournament was held on September 25th 2015 at the Blomidon Golf Club here in Corner Brook. A number of teams comprised from different stakeholders in the forest industry braved the cold windy day to raise money for the Janeway Children’s Hospital. This is an annual event so stay tuned and enter your team next year to make this event bigger and better to help the Janeway.
