Note: Fire season is set by the Minister of Fisheries, Forestry & Agriculture and runs from May 1 – September 30. We do not issue permits during this period. Any payments received before September 30th will be held, and the permit will be mailed out in time for the end of the fire season. Regardless of when you receive your permit, it is not valid until October 1st.
You are not permitted to cut wood until your permit is in your possession.
